MUSIC GRANTS

Eligibility

An applicant must be:

between 4-18 years of age
a resident of Ontario, Canada
a member of a low-income family (see: LICO)

Programs must:

provide opportunities for ongoing learning
be at least 8 weeks in duration, with a minimum of one class per week (fall/winter/spring), or be at least 6 weeks in duration for music camps (summer)

Funding

Individuals can apply for:

1) Introductory Music Grants

Applicants can receive up to the full cost of the program (to a maximum of $250).* Individuals can receive up to 4 grants per year (totalling $1,000).

2) Advanced Music Grants

Applicants can receive up to the full cost of the program (to a maximum of $2,000).* Individuals can receive up to 2 grants per year and a maximum of $2,500 total funding.

*Grants are funding-dependent and are not guaranteed. Grant recipients will receive a cheque in the mail made payable to the organization named in their application.
